McKee Therapy Specialists, LLC. is a family owned and operated physical therapy facility located in lovely Lutz, FL. Our mission is to be the clinic of choice by patients and physicians in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Our passion arises from assisting in the recovery of our patients. With a strong emphasis on manual techniques, knowledge of the stages of tissue healing, as well as exercises specific for each person and condition, we ensure all aspects of the rehabilitation process are achieved for our patients.

Conor McKee, DPT & Cassie McKee, DPT
Doctors of Physical Therapy, The Dynamic Duo!
Conor & Cassie met in PT school at UF in 2008 and have both been physical therapists for over 13 years! Conor's passion lies in treatment of orthopedic ailments. He utilizes various manual techniques, most notably Maitland Manual Therapy. He is also well versed in vestibular rehabilitation to treat patients with vertigo/balance/dizziness and headaches. Cassie on the other hand has professional experience with a variety of pediatric related diagnoses and is certified in neonatal touch and massage. She truly loves treating children and helping them reach their full potential as they continue to grow. Although Conor and Cassie have different specializations in physical therapy, they both strive to help their patients perform at the best of their abilities and enjoy spending their time with one another and their three kids!
Emily Bell, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Prior to Emily receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, she participated in competitive gymnastics at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, she then completed her bachelor’s in Health Science at USF. Emily enjoys being a physical therapist because she is able to help patients get back to doing what they love while building long lasting friendships along the way!
Shelby Ruen, Office Manager
Team Administrator
Shelby joined the McKee Therapy Specialists team after years of working in the insurance industry. She demonstrates a great ability to multitask, doing so with a positive attitude, along with greeting every patient with a smile. Shelby lives with her fiancé Nick, along with her 4 fur babies, 2 cats and 2 dogs! In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and has been very busy planning for her upcoming wedding, which is in October of 2025!
